We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Accountant within our Accounting Department group based in The Woodlands, TX.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Accountant within our Accounting Department group based in The Woodlands, TX.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partnering with users across the accounting organization to identify best practices, process improvements and accounting system enhancements.
- Creating assigned manual journal entries during the accounting close cycle.
- Preparing account reconciliation schedules related to assigned balance sheet accounts.
- Performing monthly cost allocation processes.
- Maintaining good working relationships with internal users and other accounting departments.
- Other duties as required
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Minimum 21 hours of accounting credit or equivalent work experience
- Excellent fundamental accounting skills; hands-on experience with general ledger reconciliations
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet short deadlines
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and interact effectively with others in a team environment
- Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written) with internal & external clients
- Intermediate or Advanced Excel skills
- Fluctuations in workloads may require some overtime
- Problem solving and analytical thinking as necessary to accomplish accounting objectives
