Job description

Lakeview Terrace – a Life Care Community, is enhancing and advancing the art of Life Care. Our gated campus occupies 100 serene acres on the edge of the Ocala National Forest. Featuring two lakes with fishing docks, walking paths, a natural area for picnicking and a Rehab Center and Exercise Pool Complex. With full-service offerings available to all our residents, we provide peace of mind with caring and compassionate staff to ensure happiness and well-being. As a team member with Lakeview Terrace, you will provide services to our residents that call LVT home.
Job Summary - The Receptionist provides administrative support through phone coverage, message relay, and coordination of resident services. Manages work orders, reservations, tracking lists, and maintain accurate electronic resident records. Ensures smooth operation of office equipment, mail processing, and communication systems. Supports compliance, complete assigned tasks, and assist with resident and staff needs as required.
Essential Duties:
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages in conjunction with the Health Care Receptionist; answer routine inquiries; complete routine typing and filing as assigned by Assistant Executive Director.
  • Assist with ordering nametags for Team Members and residents as requested after hours.
  • Place work orders for resident needs. If a contractor is needed to complete the work order, coordinate the work with the Maintenance Project Coordinator (i.e. blinds, etc.)
  • Assist in maintaining appropriate tracking lists: phone roster, disaster list, and authorization to release health information, resident access listing, pet roster, golf cart list, vehicle listing, and renters’ insurance. Maintain electronic resident files for contracts, pet information, and insurance.
  • Update and maintain resident biography books.
  • Maintain the copy machine in proper working order and coordinate all residents copying. Refill each copier every night. Maintain postage and get all mail stamped to go out daily to post office.
  • Place motel and apartment reservations. Check in and out guests as they arrive and leave.
  • Respond to and direct all communication over the base one radio.
  • Provide management with information on residents regarding vacations and off campus trips.
  • Attend all required in-services and trainings, including all staff meetings. Complete all required trainings in Relias on time.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state rules and regulations. Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma/GED required.
Experience: One (1) year secretarial or clerical experiences required.
