This position will support projects throughout the Bay Area, with a primary focus on the East Bay.
Project Manager
Overaa Construction is looking for a high-potential Project Manager with 5-10 years of experience managing healthcare and related construction projects. An Overaa Project Manager (PM) is the quarterback of a team of individuals responsible for successfully delivering construction projects to our clients. The PM sets the tone for the project with careful pre-planning and de-risking of project variables. They build collaborative client and stakeholder relationships, inspire and mentor their teams, and successfully deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget in accordance with Overaa's values.
Please note this role is projected to be filled in Q4 of 2026.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for tactical project execution including project approach and deliverables.
- Direct and motivate personnel and trade partners to achieve completion of projects on schedule, within budget, and with quality craftsmanship.
- Manage administrative and contractual obligations including owner contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
- Build strategic partnerships with key client accounts through business development activities.
- Attend conferences, tradeshows, and community events.
- Participate in project pursuits including proposal strategy, estimating support, interviews, presentations, and preconstruction services.
- Promote job site safety and complete all required Overaa safety training.
Overall Responsibilities and Authority
- Responsible for project risk management.
- Develop project buyout strategies with the Project Executive and estimating team.
- Develop project budgets, cost control plans, change management, manpower and resource planning, and financial projections.
- Lead the master scheduling process in collaboration with the Superintendent and trade partners.
- Lead quality control, safety, and environmental programs with support from the Superintendent and Safety/QC teams.
- Lead communication with project stakeholders and recommend solutions to project issues.
- Direct, supervise, and mentor Project Engineers, Field Engineers, Team Coordinators, and Project Accountants.
- Understand the prime contract and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Follow contract notice requirements to preserve Overaa's rights and minimize project risk.
- Report directly to the Project Executive.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of relevant project management experience across all phases of construction.
- Experience managing healthcare or related commercial construction projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Organized with a systematic approach to achieving high-quality results.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage diverse personalities.
- Knowledge of QSP, SWPPP, LEED, and sustainability practices is a plus.
- Experience with Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Primavera, Navisworks, Microsoft Project, and Viewpoint is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $135,000 to $165,000 per year. This does not include bonus compensation or other benefits such as health, disability, life, retirement, or other benefits which may impact total compensation. The actual salary offered will depend on several factors, including experience, qualifications, education, skill set, and geographic location. This salary range is subject to future modification.
