A stealth-mode fintech group operating in the cross-border payments space requires an Interim CTO to bridge a 6-month leadership gap during a critical product scaling phase. This is a board-level engagement with direct P&L accountability.

The successful candidate will inherit a team of 18 engineers, an existing microservices architecture, and a Series A funding runway. NDA is required before further details are disclosed.

Core Requirements

• Executive Track Record: Previous CTO or VP Engineering experience at a fintech or regulated financial services company.
• Team Leadership: Demonstrable experience scaling engineering organisations from 10 to 50+ people.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with PCI-DSS, SOC 2, and cross-border payment compliance frameworks.
• Board Communication: Comfortable presenting technical strategy and risk to a board of directors.

Work Load: 40-50 hours per week. Full executive commitment required.
