🚧Paid Internship – Civil Engineer (Gainesville, FL) - Fall 2026

Osiris 9 Consulting is seeking applicants for a paid internship at our Gainesville office. We are located minutes away from UF. This internship provides an opportunity to apply engineering principles to real-world transportation challenges while supporting some of the most interesting transportation projects in Florida. Interns will gain valuable project experience, explore career interests in the transportation field, and develop technical and professional skills through hands-on work and mentorship.

Examples of Duties and Responsibilities

✅ Traffic/capacity analysis

✅ Assist/Develop with roadway design concepts

✅ Analyze planning and safety data

✅ Support technical reports and presentations

✅ Help with public involvement and project documentation

Requirements and Preferences

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic knowledge of transportation engineering (preferred)
• Experience with Highway Capacity Software (HCS), Synchro, and/or MicroStation (preferred)
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record
