Job description

Job Title: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)

Location: Oregon Sleep Associates – Portland, OR

Schedule: Fulltime | All Shift

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) to join our collaborative and patient-focused team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Set up and conduct sleep studies using specialized monitoring equipment.
  • Score and analyze sleep data to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
  • Manage CPAP/BiPAP therapy during titration studies.
  • Ensure patient safety and maintain precise documentation by clinical standards.
  • Educate patients on PAP therapy and equipment use.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with monitoring and PAP devices.
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support patient care plans.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • RPSGT certification and formal clinical training.
  • Proficiency in sleep study setup, scoring, and PAP therapy.
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
  • Excellent patient care and communication abilities.
  • High attention to detail and technical troubleshooting capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience conducting pediatric sleep studies.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems and digital clinical workflows.
  • Leadership experience or background in training new staff.
  • Understanding of insurance processes and pre-authorizations.
