Registered Dental Hygienist – Join Our Caring Periodontal Team in Corvallis, Oregon.

We’re excited to welcome a part-time Registered Dental Hygienist with periodontal experience to our friendly, patient-focused periodontal surgery office at Aspire Implants and Periodontics.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform thorough periodontal assessments, including full-mouth periodontal charting
  • Obtain and evaluate diagnostic radiographs as appropriate for periodontal evaluation and treatment
  • Provide non-surgical periodontal therapy, including scaling and root planing, with a high standard of clinical skill
  • Deliver periodontal maintenance care in alignment with each patient’s individual treatment plan
  • Identify and communicate findings related to periodontal disease progression or stability
  • Maintain accurate, concise, and HIPAA-compliant clinical documentation
  • Educate patients on oral health, periodontal disease, post-op care, and home hygiene practices
  • Participate in case planning and treatment discussions with the surgical team
  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions with patients, providers, and team members
  • Work independently with confidence, while respecting the flow and priorities of the surgical team
  • Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills
  • Stay current with periodontal research, techniques, and continuing education
  • Participate in office-hosted hygiene study clubs and contribute to a culture of shared learning
  • Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, well-prepared operatory
  • Represent the practice with integrity, compassion, and a commitment to excellence

  • Take part in our office-hosted hygiene study club, a fun, collaborative way to engage with referring providers, share ideas, and stay current on best practices in dental care

Job Details

  • Part-time (Flexible 1–3 days per week) 
  • 8-hour shifts (Flexible days, Monday-Thursday)
  • Shift start/end times are flexible, based on mutual agreement.
  • Practice hours:
    • Monday & Thursday: 7:45 am–4:30 pm
    • Tuesday & Wednesday: 7:45 am–5:00 pm

Qualifications

  • Registered Dental Hygienist (Required)
  • Radiology certification (Required)
  • Periodontal experience (Preferred)
