Job Description

Specialized Care: Perform thorough periodontal cleanings and maintenance using modern surgical and clinical equipment.
Patient Support: Provide a calming presence for anxious patients, ensuring their comfort throughout specialized treatments.
Clinical Excellence: Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Collaboration: Partner with the surgeon and clinical team to implement comprehensive treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
Technology Integration: Efficiently utilize dental software and computer systems for accurate charting and patient records.
Communication: Educate patients on periodontal health and post-operative care with clarity and compassion.

Salary Range

Full-time $70 - $80 per hour

Monday: Closed
Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Saturday & Sunday: Closed

Requirements

• Basic life support
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Licensed dental hygienist

Licensure: Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license for the State of Oregon.
Certification: Current CPR Certification.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in aseptic techniques and strong computer literacy.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills with a friendly, positive, and upbeat personality.
Attributes: Proven self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Preferences

Experience: Previous experience in a periodontal or surgical dental setting is advantageous.
