With a salary range of USD 70,000 – 100,000 annually, we offer competitive compensation alongside a supportive work environment.

About the Organization

Optimum Mind Counseling Solutions is a leading private practice situated in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, known for our holistic and individualized approach to mental health care. This remote, full-time position offers flexibility to accommodate professionals balancing life’s demands while still performing what they love. You will be afforded the opportunity to create a healthy work-life balance, engaging with clients from the comfort of your home, while also having access to our outpatient office for in-person sessions when needed. We emphasize ongoing collaboration and support among our staff to create a strong community feel, even in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed assessments to gain an understanding of clients' unique mental health concerns, utilizing various diagnostic tools and therapeutic techniques.
  • Facilitate individual therapy sessions tailored to each client’s needs, employing diverse modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Solution-Focused Therapy to foster personal growth.
  • Collaboratively establish therapeutic goals with clients, regularly monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Offer convenient teletherapy options to ensure access to support for clients experiencing mobility issues or residing in remote areas.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with ethical standards and best practices, ensuring a thorough and organized case file for each client.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training to enhance clinical skills, stay updated on advancements in mental health, and acquire new techniques, particularly in addiction treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice caters to a diverse client population that includes individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. We pride ourselves on providing a nonjudgmental atmosphere where clients can feel safe exploring their thoughts and feelings. By using evidence-based practices, we empower our clients to find clarity and healing while navigating their paths toward improved mental health and resilience.

Qualifications
  • A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, crucial for building trusting therapeutic relationships with clients.
  • A demonstrated ability to empathize and maintain a nonjudgmental attitude toward clients' experiences and struggles.
  • Strong organizational skills and proficiency in time management, enabling effective handling of caseloads and administrative responsibilities.
Preferred Experience

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with experience in trauma-informed care, addiction treatment, and working with diverse populations. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and previous experience in private practice settings will also be seen favorably.

Compensation and Benefits
  • An annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 – 100,000, based on your experience and qualifications.
  • A comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings plans to promote both physical and financial well-being.
