Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical therapy needs, integrating detailed patient histories, physical assessments, and collaborative goal-setting.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to enhance recovery and improve mobility, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including orthopedic surgeons, primary care physicians, and nursing staff, to coordinate care and adjust treatment protocols based on patient feedback and progress.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes to ensure seamless communication within the care team and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Meet or exceed productivity standards while remaining devoted to quality patient care and participation in team initiatives.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through continuing education and mentoring other staff members or overseeing clinical internships.
  • Assist patients in overcoming any barriers to care and optimizing their therapeutic experience while actively seeking feedback to inform future practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with individuals recovering from various orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. You will utilize a patient-centered approach to empower individuals in their recovery and ensure optimal care accessibility.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure for Physical Therapy in California.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care and excellent communication skills.
Preferred Experience
  • While prior experience in orthopedic physical therapy is preferred, new graduates with a passion for patient care and a drive to learn are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in home care settings is a plus but not mandatory.
Compensation and Benefits
