Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status and facilitate the identification of therapeutic goals.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to the client's specific needs.
• Engage in therapeutic sessions with clients, employing both individual and group therapy techniques to promote psychological growth and recovery.
• Provide ongoing support and resources, including referrals to other healthcare professionals such as psychiatrists as necessary.
• Document client progress and maintain up-to-date records using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss case updates and collaborate on integrated treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve come from diverse backgrounds and may struggle with a variety of mental health challenges, including substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders. Your role will be critical in building therapeutic relationships, fostering trust, and providing the unwavering support necessary to help clients navigate their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Minimum of four years of experience in a mental health counseling role, demonstrating proficiency in a variety of therapeutic settings and approaches.
• A deep understanding of mental health disorders, associated treatment modalities, and cultural competence in therapy practices.
• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy sessions in a manner that respects diverse perspectives and backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Strong crisis intervention skills, with the ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on building rapport with clients from varied demographics.
• Proficiency in EHR systems and an aptitude for utilizing technology to enhance service delivery.

Compensation and Benefits
