Job description

Job Summary: The Sprinkler Service Coordinator plays a key role in delivering exceptional customer service by efficiently scheduling and dispatching service technicians, managing work orders, and serving as primary point of contact for customer inquiries. This position ensures timely resolution of service requests, coordinates field operations, and supports both customers and internal teams to maintain high levels of satisfaction and operational efficiency.

  • Answer incoming phone calls, providing prompt and professional customer service.
  • Schedule and dispatch service technicians, optimizing routes and ensuring timely service delivery.
  • Coordinate and manage customer follow-up appointments to maintain service continuity.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, technicians, and internal staff to ensure clarity and satisfaction.
  • Monitor and review daily technician activities, prepare status reports, and document service outcomes.
  • Gather and process customer feedback, including conducting post-service surveys to ensure quality.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues in a timely professional manner.
  • Support overall service and organizational goals by completing tasks and projects as needed.
  • Manage sprinkler inspections billing, ensuring accuracy and timely invoicing.

Job Requirements & Skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in scheduling, routing, or dispatching service technicians, drivers, or product deliveries.
  • 1-3 years of strong customer service experience, preferably in a service or field operations environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft, particularly word and excel.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
  • Strong problem recognition and resolution skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated reliability, good attendance, and a solid work ethic.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Primarily based in a standard office setting with regular use of computers, phones, and office equipment.
  • Fast-paced, dynamic environment requires frequent multi-tasking and real time communication with field technicians, customers and internal teams.
  • May involve occasional extended period of siting while working at a desk or computer.
  • Frequent phone and email communication with both internal staff and external clients.
  • May require occasional adjustment of schedule to accommodate urgent service needs or high-volume periods.
  • Collaborative team environment with regular interaction across departments such as sales, service, and operations.
