Job description

Who is Comprehensive Healthcare?
Comprehensive Healthcare provides innovative behavioral health and integrated healthcare services to clients of all ages. We take pride in our creative and collaborative work environment and in delivering clinically excellent, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented services.
What are we looking for in an IT Project Manager?
The IT Project Manager is responsible for leading technology initiatives that support Comprehensive Healthcare's mission of delivering exceptional behavioral healthcare services. This role oversees the planning, execution, and successful delivery of IT projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams, leadership, and external vendors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational goals.
This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, communicates effectively, and enjoys managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong leadership skills who can build relationships across departments, navigate competing priorities, and drive projects from conception through implementation.
The primary focus of this position is overseeing the implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system while managing additional Information Technology initiatives, including Electronic Health Record (EHR) projects and other technology improvements that enhance organizational efficiency and patient care.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
IT Project Manager duties may include:
  • Planning, managing, and delivering multiple IT projects from initiation through completion while ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Developing comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Leading the implementation of enterprise technology solutions, including ERP systems and Electronic Health Record (EHR) initiatives.
  • Coordinating project activities across Information Systems, clinical departments, operations, finance, and executive leadership.
  • Managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
  • Serving as the primary point of communication between stakeholders, leadership, vendors, and project teams.
  • Facilitating project meetings, providing regular status updates, and ensuring stakeholders remain informed throughout each phase of implementation.
  • Identifying project risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimize disruption and maintain project success.
  • Creating, maintaining, and organizing project documentation, including project plans, timelines, status reports, meeting notes, and risk management documentation.
  • Collaborating with technical teams to ensure system implementations align with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and operational needs.
  • Supporting organizational change management efforts by coordinating communication, training, and adoption strategies for new technologies.
  • Continuously evaluating project performance and recommending process improvements that strengthen project delivery and organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Previous experience managing Information Technology projects required.
  • Experience implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems preferred.
  • Experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems or healthcare technology projects preferred.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP), Agile, Scrum, or Change Management is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Experience using project management software and collaboration tools.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle liability insurance required.
Additional Requirements
This position requires occasional travel between agency locations to support project implementation and collaboration with internal teams.
In compliance with state and federal law, Comprehensive Healthcare requires all candidates to successfully complete a post-offer, pre-employment drug screen and background check.
What Comprehensive Healthcare Can Offer You
Training & Professional Development
  • Opportunities for career advancement across Information Systems and organizational leadership.
  • Ongoing professional development, project management training, and continuing education support.

Innovative Programs & Services
  • Work with an innovative healthcare organization committed to improving behavioral health services through technology.

  • Competitive salary.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for eligible employees and qualified dependents.
  • Generous paid vacation, sick leave, and holiday benefits.

  • Employer-funded retirement plan with a 5% agency contribution.
  • Additional retirement investment opportunities with employer matching.
