OptiMindHealth Behavioral Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our dynamic team. Work Environment

This remote role allows counselors to work from the comfort of their own homes while maintaining a strong connection with our supportive team. We provide all necessary digital resources and tools for seamless teletherapy interactions. While our counselors primarily engage with clients via virtual sessions, ongoing team meetings and professional development occur through video conferencing platforms, ensuring that our staff feels connected and valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients’ mental health challenges, establishing a comprehensive treatment plan tailored to their unique needs.
• Deliver individual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, ensuring that therapy is practical and relevant for each client.
• Facilitate ongoing therapy sessions, tracking client progress and modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve established therapeutic goals.
• Provide teletherapy options, ensuring accessibility for clients who prefer virtual sessions or experience mobility challenges.
• Document all client interactions and treatment plans accurately and promptly, adhering to ethical and regulatory standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops and training sessions to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on the latest therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our counselors work with a diverse clientele spanning various demographics, including children, adolescents, and adults grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health concerns. Counselors are expected to foster a safe and supportive therapeutic environment, facilitating open dialogues that encourage clients to share their experiences and challenges.

Qualifications

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. A master’s degree is highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy and a non-judgmental approach to client interactions.
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage a varied and busy caseload effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a clinical or outpatient setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and online documentation systems will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary ranging from USD 60,000 to 80,000 annually, based on experience and caseload.
