Job description

About the Role:
Opex Edge LLC is looking for a driven and experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Fort Wayne, IN area. This is your opportunity to lead a skilled maintenance crew, keep our production lines running at peak performance, and make a real impact on the shop floor every day.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of maintenance technicians across manufacturing operations
  • Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment failures
  • Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and spare parts inventory
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve reliability
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance staff performance
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or lead maintenance role
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) preferably SAP
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) principles
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
