We focus on patient outcomes first, contract directly with employers, and empower clinicians to focus on the practice of medicine.About the role:We are looking for a highly qualified Medical Doctor that is willing to work in a fast-paced clinic setting. We offer employer-based health services for patients of all ages. The experienced individual we are searching for would help support our mission statement, “Do Good, Help Others”.ResponsibilitiesConduct annual check-ups on patients to assess their overall health and wellnessProvide patient education on disease processes, recommended treatments, and lifestyle changes to promote overall healthEvaluate and treat patients that present with an illness, injury, etc.Order any necessary labs, imaging, or procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating our patientsPrescribe medications as indicated. Patient education pertaining to the medication mechanism of action, side effects, and contraindications is expected.Collaborate with other physicians, mid-level providers, and support staff to create a high-functioning teamProvide referrals to outside specialties when a higher level of care is deemed necessaryMaintain electronic medical records for each patient encounter. Including patient medical/surgical/social history, patient documents, and escribing patient medicationsCultivate a climate of trust and compassion for patientsUtilize resources to stay up-to-date on evidence-based practice guidelinesRequirements and skillsProven experience as a physicianStrong understanding of examination, methodologies, and diagnosticsBroad knowledge of common medications, side effects and contraindicationsIn-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and best practicesExcellent oral and written communication skillsThorough understanding of HIPPARespect patient confidentialityResponsible and trustworthyCompassionate and approachableDoctor of Medicine degree (MD) and valid in MSPrescriptive authorizationThree (3) years of relevant clinical experience preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
