We are seeking a Legal Recruiter to identify, engage, and place attorneys with leading law firms across the country. This role will focus on building relationships with attorney candidates, understanding their career goals, and matching them with strategic opportunities at regional, national, and boutique law firms.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Source and engage attorney candidates, building and maintaining relationships with attorneys across key practice areas and markets
• Conduct candidate intake calls to understand background, goals, practice focus, compensation, and relocation preferences
• Identify opportunities that align with each candidate’s experience, book of business, and long-term objectives
• Prepare candidate profiles, summaries, and submission materials for law firm clients
• Coordinate interviews, follow-ups, feedback, and offer discussions
• Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruiting process
• Track candidate activity and pipeline progress in the firm’s CRM or tracking system
• Collaborate with business development and recruiting team members to support active searches
• Stay informed on law firm movement, lateral hiring trends, and market developments
IDEAL CANDIDATE
• 2–5+ years of experience in recruiting, executive search, sales, or account management; strong preference for legal recruiting or attorney search experience
• Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with sophisticated professionals
• Comfortable conducting outreach through email, LinkedIn, phone calls, and referral networks
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple candidate conversations at once
• Experience working with law firms, attorneys, or other professional services clients
• Sales, staffing, executive search, or consultative recruiting background
• Familiarity with lateral partner recruiting, practice groups, and law firm compensation structures
