Job description

Main Purpose/Scope:Reporting to the Marketing Supervisor, this position coordinates day-to-day marketing initiatives that support the Foundation's strategic communications and brand. Key Responsibilities and Duties:Develop and maintain the marketing calendar under the direction of the Marketing SupervisorProvide day-to-day oversight and support to the Social Media Clerk, including:Preparing and coordinating work schedule for review and approval by the Marketing SupervisorReviewing social media content submissions and blog articles before forwarding them to the Marketing Supervisor for final review and approvalCreate and maintain website contentCoordinate lodge newsletter review and distributionCreate marketing and communications content, including but not limited to:Attending activities and events at Foundation facilitiesCapturing high-quality photography and videographyEditing photographs and video contentProducing promotional videos and multimedia contentCreating content for social media platforms and the Foundation websiteWriting blog articles, website content, and press releases.Advertisements and signageEvent promotional materialsSpecial Projects as requiredMonitor online presence and respond to or escalate issues as appropriate to Marketing SupervisorFormat and design reports, presentations, and other corporate documentsSubmit all marketing materials, communications, social media content, website updates, and publications to the Marketing Supervisor for review and approval prior to the publication or distributionClerical Support Duties as requiredOther duties as required Job Specifications:Education/Training:Diploma or degree in marketing, new media, communications, or a related field is preferred Experience: Experience in high-quality photography and videographyExperience with graphic design and video editing softwareExperience creating digital marketing and communications materialsExperience managing websites and social media platforms Skills/Knowledge:Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Creative CloudStrong photography and videography skillsAbove average attention to detailAbove average verbal and written communication skillsExcellent computer skills Abilities:Ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently while supporting a team environmentAbility to deal with administration, management, co-workers, and external contacts in a courteous and respectful mannerAbility to maintain a high level of confidentiality Requirements:Complete work-related training as requiredSupport and adhere to all current and future Foundation policies and proceduresSupport and adhere to all federal and provincial legislation as it applies to the FoundationParticipate in regularly scheduled administration meetingsComply with dress and grooming policy to project and maintain a professional imageMobility to work in multi-story building and physical stamina to lift and carry up to 10 kgs Specific Requirements: Current and ongoing satisfactory Criminal Record CheckValid Class 5 driver's licenseCurrent satisfactory driver's abstract requiredCurrent claims experience letterFirst Aid certification may be required, as per First Aid policy The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the incumbent(s) of this job.
