Ohio Valley Grinding

The Grinder Operator will perform precision grinding operations primarily on metal materials to ensure components meet quality and safety standards. The role involves setting up machinery, operating grinding equipment, handling tools and materials safely, and adhering to established safety protocols. This position may require working both under direct supervision and independently during the day shift to maintain efficient production and high-quality output.

Responsibilities

• Set up grinding machines according to specifications
• Operate grinding equipment to shape and finish metal materials
• Follow safety protocols and maintain compliance with workplace standards
• Handle tools and materials with care to prevent damage or injury
• Manage material flow to and from the grinding area efficiently

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in grinding operations
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Knowledge of precision measurement tools
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Mechanical aptitude
