Seeking licensed nurse, with leadership experience, driven to work on performance improvement and committed to providing

high quality, safe, patient care.

equipment, and other resources in a way that provides a high standard of patient care and makes a difference in the health and

lives of our patients and community.

Working Environment: The usual working space is a patient care and office area. Physical requirements of the job are detailed

within this job description. Direct patient care requires both fine and gross motor skills. Also subject to exposure to bloodborne

pathogens in patient care. Potential to be exposed to dangerous chemicals (cleaning and disinfecting agents). The environment

may be stressful at times, therefore the ability to work productively under stressful conditions is necessary.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The RN Clinical Team Lead is responsible for performing a variety of administrative, patient care, and

supervisory duties and responsibilities. All duties are performed to supervise and assist in the care of patients and ensure efficient

operations of the provider practice clinic. Must have good communication skills, support teamwork in the delivery of care, and

demonstrate customer service relations congruent with Ohio County Healthcare's mission, vision, and values. All supervision,

delegation, and patient care will be performed within the registered nurse scope of practice according to KBN. Work experience

and/or leadership within an outpatient/ambulatory/provider practice setting is optimal for this leadership position. Leadership

experience will be considered in the absence of experience working in desired care setting.

1. Supervision of clinical patient care/clinical staff operations

2. Staff Schedule, Coverage, and PayCom duties

3. Direct Patient Care/Staffing Coverage

4. Education & Training Clinical Care Team

5. Perform observations to complete competencies with clinical staff

6. Audits, rounding, and/or tracers for surveillance of regulatory compliance

7. Liaison between clinical team, clinic mgr, and clinical staff operations mgr

8. Patient Safety and Safety Culture Champion

9. Assesses and Diagnoses Nursing Care Needs of Patients in All Age Groups

10. Prescribes, Delivers, Delegates, Supervises and Evaluates Nursing Care for All Age Groups

11. Patient (significant others) Education

12. Maintains Safe and Therapeutic Environment of Care for Patients

13. Upholds Standards of Nursing Practice and Code of Ethics

14. Professional Self-Development

15. Exhibits Positive Human Relations

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program.

LICENSURE: Current KY State RN license and/or Compact State RN License

EXPERIENCE: 2 yrs nursing experience required. Experience working in clinical/outpatient/ambulatory care setting as

registered nurse and/or applicable like setting is preferred. Leadership experience is highly preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS: Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 6 months of hire.
