Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Furniture Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery, assembly, installation, and reconfiguration of office furniture in commercial environments. The ideal candidate is hands-on, mechanically inclined, and committed to providing excellent service to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, assemble, and disassemble office furniture such as desks, cubicles, chairs, shelving, and conference room setups
  • Read and interpret installation instructions, layouts, and floor plans
  • Load, unload, and transport furniture safely to job sites
  • Ensure proper placement and alignment according to design specifications
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area during and after installations
  • Communicate professionally with clients and team members on-site
  • Identify and report any product damage or installation issues
  • Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in furniture installation, carpentry, construction, or a related field preferred
  • Ability to read basic diagrams and floor plans
  • Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items (50โ€“100 lbs)
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Work Environment

  • Work is performed on-site at client locations (offices, commercial buildings)
  • Frequent lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Occasional travel may be required depending on job assignments
