Position Summary:

Octapharma USA is searching for a Medical Science Liaison, Immunology – Southeast to join our team. The Medical Science Liaison will have accountability and responsibility in the management of field-based medical activity within the Octapharma Immunology portfolio. The position will provide medical/scientific expertise in the provision of educational programs and responding to medical information requests, as well as support to global and commercial functions within the organization via effective scientific exchange. The position will also be responsible for establishing and fostering professional relationships with key opinion leaders and ensuring access to current medical and scientific information on company products and therapeutic areas of interest. The territory for this position includes Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, Puerto Rico (virtual only), South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Requirements:

• Must be located in Florida preferably near an airport
• Advanced pharmacy or nursing degree
• 3+ years of related industry or clinical experience in area of focus
• Strong understanding of industry compliance guidelines
• Understanding of drug surveillance, product promotion, and the legal aspects of product information
• Ability to travel for field-based activities and attendance at clinical meetings and symposia (40% - 60% travel is expected)

Octapharma USA Compensation and Benefit Summary:

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $145,000.00 to $180,000.00; however, unexpected, and necessary adjustments or increases may result from Company annual salary increases, if applicable, and or fluctuations in the job market necessitating adjustments to pay ranges. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off benefits, including parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
