Obélix Restaurant is searching for a part time brunch line cook to join our team.
Obélix, located in River North, provides a French bistro experience through the lens of two French-American brothers who grew up in Chicago. Obélix has been named a finalist for Best New Restaurant by the James Beard Foundation. It received top honors upon opening from Chicago Magazine for Best New Restaurant in 2022.
Our menu is rooted in classical French technique, while paying homage to the global flavors that inspire us as a team. The ideal candidate for this role is intrinsically motivated, disciplined, organized, and passionate about hospitality. Experience in a fast paced, medium-high volume restaurant is preferred but a candidate with the right attitude and motivation would be considered.
This job is for an AM line cook role working part time, 2 days on (~9 hour shifts) working brunch service Saturday and Sunday mornings.
