Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our facilities and manufacturing processes. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, facilities, and systems to maximize uptime and safety. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment, supporting our commitment to quality and operational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about hands-on problem-solving, technical innovation, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems using schematics and technical manuals.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues utilizing tools such as ohmmeters, multimeters, and diagnostic software; perform repairs or coordinate repairs with specialized technicians.
  • Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot automation systems and ensure proper functioning of manufacturing equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including electrical repairs, plumbing fixes, residential painting, and general building upkeep.
  • Support manufacturing operations by ensuring machinery is calibrated, aligned, and functioning optimally to meet production goals.
  • Follow safety procedures diligently, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols, to prevent accidents during maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with team members across departments to address customer service requests related to facility issues or equipment downtime.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams.
  • Electrical experience including troubleshooting circuits, wiring, motors, and control panels.
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork collaboration.
  • Knowledge of CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities is desirable.
