Barista / Cashier Morning & Evening Shifts

About the Role
Were looking for a reliable, friendly, and service-driven Barista/Cashier to join our team. This
role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced caf environment, takes pride in great customer
service, and can confidently handle both barista tasks and register operations.
Responsibilities
Prepare espresso drinks, teas, and caf beverages following house standards
Greet guests, take orders, and provide warm, attentive customer service
Operate POS system accurately, handle cash and card transactions
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including bar, pastry case, and dining area
Restock supplies and assist with opening/closing duties
Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
Support team members to keep service smooth during peak hours
Required Qualifications
Morning and evening availability (must be able to work both AM and PM shifts as needed)
Valid California Food Handler Card
Completed Sexual Harassment Prevention Training (CA-compliant)
Basic barista experience (espresso dialing, milk steaming, drink building)
Customer service experience in a caf, restaurant, or similar environment
Cash handling experience with accuracy and accountability
Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
Preferred (Not Required)
Experience in a high-volume caf & familiarity with specialty coffee standards
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
