CLIENT EXPERIENCE COORDINATOR, ENTREPRENEURSHIP LEARNING (FTE)
INVEST OTTAWA - VENTURE DEVELOPMENT


TheClient Experience Coordinator, Entrepreneurship Learning plans, coordinates, and delivers entrepreneurial learning programs for idea-stage and growing businesses across Ottawa.


You will manage a dynamic mix of free and paid sessions from webinars to in-person workshops, serving as the primary liaison with presenters, partners, and internal teams. Through strong program design, speaker relationships, and seamless event coordination, you will ensure an exceptional client learning experience aligned with Invest Ottawa's mission.


Work Model: 10 daysper month required in-office at Bayview Yards
Corporate Pay Band B:$54,400 - $81,600

Hiring Salary Range: $54,400 - $65,000

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Plan and coordinate all workshops, webinars, and in-person events end-to-end, including dates, topics, presenters, room bookings, and virtual platform management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for workshop presenters and community partners, setting clear expectations and supporting high-quality session delivery
  • Collaborate with the Program, Advisory, Partnerships, and Marketing teams to align programming, promote events, and ensure consistent messaging
  • Provide partners with registration updates and dedicated service throughout the workshop delivery process
  • Track and report on workshop counts, registrants, attendance, and NPS scores on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Represent Invest Ottawa at select external events and champion a culture of service excellence and continuous learning
  • Maintain accurate program records and provide insights to support continuous improvement and decision-making
  • Engage Ottawa's entrepreneurial community through targeted outreach and occasional networking.
  • Guide and support the delivery of signature community events such as Small Business Week and International Women's Month
  • Oversee all client-facing communications including confirmations, logistics updates, post-event follow-ups, and survey outreach
  • Develop and iterate curriculum, identify training gaps, and propose new programming (paid and free) based on participant feedback and emerging entrepreneur needs

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • College diploma, undergraduate degree, or equivalent preparation in a related field
  • Up to one year of experience in event coordination, program delivery, community engagement, or a similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong people skills with the ability to relate to a variety of personalities and backgrounds
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
  • Entrepreneurial experience or mindset is an asset
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations and facilitate workshops
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Up to one year of experience in event coordination, program delivery, community engagement, or a similar role
