Job description

NVIDIA is looking for an outstanding and motivated Senior ASIC AI Engineer to develop high performance Agentic AI systems to boost productivity of GPU ASIC design flows . This role offers a chance to create real impact in a dynamic, tech-driven company. If you are passionate and knowledgeable about using the latest AI framework, this role offers opportunities to apply these technologies to GPU hardware design. Our team consists of outstanding people worldwide, working to push the boundaries of what is possible today and define the future of computing.

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop AI powered methodologies and Agents to generate micro-architecture, RTL, and physical design starting with specification.

  • Using AI agents to process large data and existing codebase to generate skills that can be widely used.

  • Evaluate latest Multi-agent collaboration frameworks and apply them to generate area/power/timing/functionally accurate designs for memory system units in the GPU

  • Collaborate with architects, hardware engineers, and physical design engineers to accomplish your goals.

  • Find opportunities to integrate AI workflows into existing flows.

What we need to see:

  • BS (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields with 5+ years of experience, or MS with 3+ years of relevant experience.

  • Direct experience with AI-driven development such as coding agents and Agentic workflows. Ability to map a problem to AI workflows.

  • Proficiency in AI orchestration tools like LangChain or LlamaIndex and reasoning methodologies. Knowledgeable in memory and context management, evaluation frameworks to measure agent accuracy.

  • Experience with System Verilog, RTL and hardware description language.

  • A good understanding of ASIC flow including RTL, verification, logic synthesis, timing analysis.

  • Familiarity with computer architecture concepts and implementation of caches, arbitration and scheduling polices and interconnects.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across teams.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 136,000 USD - 218,500 USD for Level 3, and 168,000 USD - 264,500 USD for Level 4.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
