Telehealth Nurse Practitioner – GLP‐1 Weight Loss (Multi‐State Licensed NPs Prioritized)

About the Role

Mertha Health is a modern telehealth clinic specializing in GLP‐1–based weight‐loss care, metabolic health, and lifestyle coaching. We are seeking a compassionate, detail‐oriented Nurse Practitioner to provide virtual consultations, medication management, and ongoing support for patients pursuing safe and effective weight‐loss treatment.

Nurse Practitioners with 15+ active state licenses will be prioritized for this role.

Multi‐state coverage allows us to expand rapidly and serve patients nationwide.

This is a fully remote contractor role with flexible scheduling and a streamlined EMR designed for fast documentation and efficient patient flow.

Responsibilities

Conduct virtual GLP‐1 consultations, follow‐ups, and medication management visits

Assess patient eligibility for GLP‐1 therapy based on clinical guidelines

Manage titration schedules, monitor side effects, and adjust treatment plans

Provide lifestyle, nutrition, and behavioral coaching to support long‐term success

Document patient encounters clearly and efficiently within our EMR

Maintain high standards of telehealth professionalism, communication, and patient satisfaction

Collaborate with clinical leadership to uphold Mertha’s care protocols and best practices

Ensure compliance with state telehealth regulations and NP scope of practice

Qualifications

Active Nurse Practitioner license — candidates with 15+ state licenses are strongly prioritized

Experience with GLP‐1 medications (Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, etc.) strongly preferred

Telehealth experience required

Strong communication skills and comfort with virtual care

Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently

Compassionate, patient‐focused approach to care

Malpractice insurance required
