Position Summary

As a Server, you are responsible for creating an exceptional dining experience from the moment guests are seated until they leave. Beyond taking orders and delivering food, you are a host, guide, and ambassador for the Nove experience.

Successful candidates possess genuine hospitality, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism
• Guide guests through the menu with confidence
• Describe handmade pastas, daily features, cocktails, wine, beer, and espresso offerings
• Make thoughtful food and beverage recommendations
• Anticipate guest needs throughout service
• Enter orders accurately into the POS
• Deliver food and beverages following service standards
• Ensure proper pacing of courses
• Maintain clean, organized stations throughout service
• Process payments accurately
• Assist teammates whenever needed
• Complete opening and closing side work
• Maintain sanitation and food safety standards
• Represent Nove Pasta House with professionalism at all times

Qualifications

• 1+ year restaurant experience preferred
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Florida food handler certification (or ability to obtain)
• Responsible alcohol service knowledge preferred
