Work Environment

The role of Acupuncture Specialist is situated in our outpatient office, offering a supportive and collaborative work environment. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team that includes mental health professionals, nutritionists, wellness coaches, and other specialists. Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and establish individualized treatment plans for patients suffering from various conditions such as addiction recovery, musculoskeletal pain, anxiety disorders, women's health issues, and digestive problems.
• Utilize acupuncture techniques, including needle insertion, auricular therapy, and electro-acupuncture, to address patient conditions effectively.
• Engage in detailed consultations with clients to discuss their symptoms, treatment goals, and progress throughout their care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure patients receive comprehensive care that considers all aspects of their health.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in our patient management systems, maintaining the highest standard of care and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain client follow-up schedules and adjust treatment plans based on patient feedback and progress.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in acupuncture or a related field.
• A minimum of three years’ experience as a licensed acupuncturist.
• National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) certification and state licensure are required.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients.
• A demonstrated commitment to upholding the principles of holistic health and wellness.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a multidisciplinary practice setting.

Compensation and Benefits
