The Role The School of Skilled Trades Grande Prairie is seeking Pipe Trades - Plumbing, Steamfitter-Pipefitter, Gasfitter A (preferred) Instructors for the Apprenticeship program.
These are full-time sessional, tenure track appointments starting August 15, 2026 to June 30, 2027.The successful candidate will have a Journeyperson/Red Seal certification in the related trade with a preferred minimum of five years experience as a Journeyperson. Necessary skills and attributes to be successful in this role include: Preferred Gasfitter A Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills; An entrepreneurial spirit, specifically one who is willing to take a risk to create opportunities; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to build strong relationships across the organization; and A high level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
