Job description

Auto Parts Returns Specialist – European Auto Parts

Do you know the difference between a warranty return, a core return, and a stocking return without thinking twice? Can you identify damaged, incorrect, or defective parts and understand why accuracy matters in every return?


If you're organized, detail-oriented, and have experience with European auto parts, Northside Imports Inc. wants you on our team.


For over 40 years, we've supplied genuine and OEM European auto parts to repair shops and dealerships across the country. We're looking for an experienced Returns Specialist who understands automotive parts, takes pride in accuracy, and can efficiently process returns while providing outstanding customer service.


What You'll Do


  • Process customer returns accurately and efficiently while following company return policies.
  • Inspect returned merchandise to determine eligibility for return, warranty, vendor credit, or disposal.
  • Verify returned parts against invoices, return authorizations, and company guidelines.
  • Work closely with customers, sales representatives, warehouse staff, and purchasing to resolve return issues.
  • Process vendor returns and warranty claims with manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Restock approved merchandise and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Identify trends in return activity and help reduce unnecessary returns through communication and process improvements.
  • Keep the returns department organized, efficient, and running smoothly.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience working with European automotive parts in a dealership, wholesale distributor, or automotive parts supplier.
  • Strong knowledge of OE, OEM, and aftermarket European auto parts.
  • Familiarity with electronic parts catalogs (ETKA, PET, Xentry, EPC, or similar systems) is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to professionally handle customer concerns.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; automotive experience is strongly preferred.
