Job description

Job Title:

RN Circulator (Part-Time) - Monday to Thursday with a rotating schedule based on the block calendar.

General Overview of Responsibilities:

The Registered Nurse will take on the responsibility and accountability for the surgical care of patients at the Center, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals throughout the nursing process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Continuously monitor patients during the surgical procedure.
  • Oversee monitoring devices, fluid lines, tubes, drains, and catheters as necessary, including support for the operative extremity.
  • Exercise sound judgment in assessing nursing actions and maintain composure in emergency situations.
  • Achieve and maintain certification in CPR, PALS, and ACLS.
  • Make independent clinical decisions regarding patients' nursing care needs and communicate these to relevant personnel.
  • Exhibit a collaborative team spirit and utilize work hours effectively.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a valid RN license in the state.
  • Current certification in CPR and ACLS is mandatory.
  • At least one year of experience in the operating room is required.
  • Experience in orthopedic surgery is preferred.
