North Kern State Prison

Under direct supervision of the Classification & Parole Representative, the Correctional Case Records Manager (CCRM) directs a variety of complex records functions. Directly supervises the Correctional Case Records Supervisors, the Supervising Case Records Technician and maintains indirect supervisory responsibility for the clerical staff in the Records Office. The CCRM is responsible for accuracy and content of local records; responsible for the accuracy of sentence parole and release date calculations. Also ensures compliance with statutory mandates for incarcerated people record processing. ALL APPLICATIONS WILL BE SCREENED AND ONLY THE MOST QUALIFIED WILL BE INTERVIEWED.
Limited term 12 months; may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.

Effective July 1, 2025 , the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP2025) was implemented. PLP 2025 requires that each full-time employee receives a three (3) percent reduction in pay in exchange for five (5) hours of PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027.

This position is located at North Kern State Prison in Delano, CA. Delano is located in the Kern County-Bakersfield metropolitan area, and has grown to become the second largest city in Kern County. Accesibly located along Highway 99 and well connected to surrounding communities, Delano is emerging as the center of trade and services for residents in a 25-mile radius area. Conveniently located an hour and a half from Three Rivers and Sequoia National Park and less than three hours from Yosemite National Park and Pismo Beach.

Candidates new to CDCR/CCHCS are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, as well as a Tuberculosis test/evaluation prior to appointment, followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter.
