Whole Loan Analyst / Associate

Department Overview: Nomura's Whole Loan Middle Office team is within the Operations / Middle Office group.

Role Description

Familiarity with high volume mortgage products in the Whole Loan space

  • RTL – Residential Transition Loans / 'Fix and Flip'
  • Non QM – Non Qualified Mortgage
  • NPL/RPL – Non-Performing / Re-performing Loans
  • SBC – Small Balance Commercial
  • REO – Real Estate Owned Assets

Exposure to and knowledge of:

  • Servicer remittance processing
  • Loan Repurchase/EPD identification and processing
  • Excel Reconciliations
  • Knowledge of below is a benefit:
    • MERS application
    • LMS – Loan Management Platform
    • E-Notes

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:

  • 1+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or similar
  • Experience working in a trading environment and supporting whole loan trading desk
  • Strong attention to detail & multi-tasking skills
  • Strong organization skills and ability to adapt easily to the different functional needs of the business as it evolves
  • Strong MS Office skills
