Role: Offsite Property and Pavilion Attendant

Department: Maintenance

Reports to: Maintenance Manager

Schedule: Varies, part-time

Location: This role is located at Nocatee in Ponte Vedra, FL NOT Nocatee in Arcadia, FL

Position Overview

The Offsite Property & Pavilion Attendant is responsible for maintaining exceptional cleanliness, presentation, and overall appearance of Tolomato CDD's offsite parks, pavilions, restrooms, and recreational facilities. This position serves as the primary steward of these locations and is responsible for ensuring each property remains clean, safe, stocked, welcoming, and guest-ready throughout the entire workday.

This role requires a strong attention to detail, pride in workmanship, and the ability to work independently while remaining productive throughout each shift. The successful candidate understands that cleanliness extends beyond visible surfaces and takes ownership of maintaining facilities from top to bottom, ensuring every area consistently meets community standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and cleaning of all assigned offsite properties, pavilions, restrooms, and recreational facilities throughout the workday.
  • Maintain top-to-bottom cleanliness of restroom facilities, including toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, countertops, partitions, walls, floors, doors, and fixtures.
  • Ensure restroom facilities remain fully stocked with soap, paper products, and other necessary supplies.
  • Sweep, mop, sanitize, and detail-clean facilities to maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness.
  • Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, remove litter, and maintain clean waste disposal areas throughout assigned properties.
  • Clean and maintain pavilions, picnic areas, benches, tables, signage, sidewalks, and other park amenities.
  • Conduct ongoing property rounds to identify cleanliness issues, safety concerns, vandalism, or maintenance needs before they impact visitors.
  • Maintain the dog park, including waste stations, water stations, fencing, and surrounding grounds.
  • Remove debris, leaves, dirt, cobwebs, and other unsightly conditions from facilities and common areas.
  • Ensure all assigned properties remain guest-ready at all times and reflect the high standards of the Nocatee community.
  • Report maintenance concerns, damaged equipment, safety hazards, and repair needs promptly to the Maintenance Manager.
  • Assist with light groundskeeping duties, including sweeping, raking, and clearing walkways and gathering areas.
  • Interact professionally and courteously with residents and guests while serving as a visible representative of the District.
  • Demonstrate effective time management by remaining actively engaged in cleaning, inspection, and property upkeep tasks throughout the entire work shift.
  • Take ownership of assigned facilities and proactively address cleanliness concerns without direct supervision.

Requirements

  • Previous custodial, janitorial, facility maintenance, park maintenance, or related experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to work independently and remain productive with minimal supervision.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to perform repetitive cleaning duties throughout the workday.
  • Reliable transportation to travel between offsite properties.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities including walking, standing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to identify and prioritize tasks to ensure facilities remain clean, stocked, and guest-ready.
