Role Description This is a contract, remote role for a Vending Machine Stocker. The role involves traveling to assigned vending locations, restocking machines with snacks, beverages, and other products according to inventory guidelines, and ensuring items are rotated for freshness. Day-to-day tasks include checking product levels, collecting payments or cash where required, reporting machine issues, and maintaining cleanliness and a tidy presentation of all machines. The Vending Machine Stocker will document completed work, update inventory records using mobile or online tools, and communicate regularly with supervisors or coordinators about service needs and schedules. The role requires reliable transportation, consistent availability, and the ability to work independently while meeting agreed timelines and service standards.

Qualifications

  • Ability to manage inventory, organize products efficiently, and track stock levels accurately.
  • Basic numeracy and cash-handling skills for counting products, recording data, and managing collections when needed.
  • Strong time management and reliability to follow routes, meet deadlines, and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Physical ability to lift and move product cases, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive stocking tasks safely.
  • Clear communication skills for interacting with site contacts, reporting maintenance issues, and coordinating schedules.
  • Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, subject to local requirements.
  • Comfort using smartphones or tablets for logging visits, updating inventory, and receiving route instructions.
  • Previous experience in vending, retail stocking, delivery, or a similar role is very helpful but not required.
  • Commitment to maintaining a professional, customer-focused attitude and following safety and company guidelines.
