We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Home Care Services team in a part-time capacity. In this role, you'll provide high-quality nursing care in a home setting, helping patients recover, manage chronic conditions, and maintain independence-all with the compassion and professionalism that define NMC Health.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of patient and family needs
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans
- Providing direct nursing care and health education in the home environment
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting care plans as needed
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team to coordinate services
- Delegating tasks and supporting other team members in patient care
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and experience:
- Computer knowledge required
- Works independently and takes initiative on behalf of the patient
- Manages time effectively
- Demonstrates accountability and responsibility for safe patient care
- Minimum 1 year of home health experience preferred
- Minimum 1 year of medical/surgical experience preferred
- Associate degree (ADN) or bachelor's degree (BSN) from ACEN or CCNE accredited school of nursing
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Kansas
- Certification in CPR/Basic Life Support
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
