Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient and resident care in accordance with nursing standards and facility protocols
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor resident conditions and report changes to nursing leadership and physicians
• Assist with assessments and care planning
• Maintain accurate electronic and written medical records
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses, CNAs, physicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Promote resident safety, comfort, dignity, and quality of life

LPN Requirements:

• Active Iowa Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
• Minimum of one (1) year of recent Long Term Care (LTC), Skilled Nursing, Nursing Home, or Rehabilitation experience
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team
• Successful completion of background screening and credentialing requirements
