Job description

NOW HIRING: FIBER-OPTIC LABORER / DIGGING CREW MEMBER

Pay: $18–$22 per hour, depending on work ethic, performance, and attitude.

Start Date: ASAP

NextGen Telecom is looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our growing team. This is a physically demanding outdoor job with opportunities to advance into equipment operation and future Foreman positions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Hand digging and trenching for fiber-optic cable installations
  • Installing (burying) fiber and conduit 8–10 inches underground
  • Assisting equipment operators
  • Yard restoration (raking, seeding, straw, cleanup, etc.)
  • Loading and unloading tools and materials
  • Working safely around underground utilities

Qualifications

  • Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
  • Able to perform physical labor outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
  • Construction or utility experience is a plus, but not required
  • Experience operating equipment is a bonus
