Job description

You don’t need experience — you need discipline, effort, and respect for the work. This is where a remodel career actually begins. The Remodel Helper role is designed to train individuals through hands-on field support, clear expectations, and real jobsite responsibility. If you want to learn construction the right way and grow into a Remodel Technician role, this position provides structure, accountability, and a clear path forward.

Who We Are

Next Level Restoration & Remodel is an Albuquerque-based restoration and remodel company built on craftsmanship, accountability, and respect — for clients, for homes, and for the people doing the work.

We specialize in high-quality remodeling and rebuilds following restoration projects. Our standard is simple:

  • Safety is non-negotiable
  • Systems matter
  • Homes are treated with care
  • Field teams are trained, trusted, and expected to perform

This is a company for people who want to grow into professionals — not just clock hours.

The Role

Role Title: Remodel Helper
Status: Full-Time, Field Role

You support remodel projects by assisting Lead Technicians and Technicians with daily jobsite operations. This role focuses on jobsite readiness, cleanliness, material handling, and foundational support while learning remodel systems, safety standards, and professional field habits.

What Success Looks Like

You are successful in this role when:

  • Jobsites are clean, protected, and safe every day
  • Tools and materials are organized and handled properly
  • Demo, prep, and cleanup tasks are completed without rework
  • Leads can rely on you without constant oversight
  • Client property is treated with care and respect
  • You show improvement, consistency, and initiative over time

What You’ll Do

You will:

  • Set up, maintain, and break down clean, safe remodel jobsites
  • Assist with demolition, prep work, cleanup, and debris removal
  • Load, unload, organize, and care for tools, equipment, and materials
  • Protect client property and maintain a professional presence in homes
  • Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and jobsite standards
  • Support team efficiency by staying prepared, learning, and anticipating next steps

Who This Role Is For

This role is a strong fit if you are:

  • Accountable & Reliable — you show up on time, ready to work
  • Detail-Oriented — clean jobsites and organized tools matter to you
  • Safety-Focused — you take jobsite awareness seriously
  • Craftsmanship-Proud — even in prep and cleanup work
  • Coachable & Growth-Minded — you want to improve, not coast
  • Respectful of Property — you treat homes with care

Construction or remodel experience is helpful, but not required. What matters most is attitude, effort, and consistency.

Who This Role Is NOT For

This role is not a fit if you:

  • Cut corners to finish faster
  • Treat cleanup and protection as optional
  • Need constant supervision to stay productive
  • Ignore safety standards
  • Get defensive when corrected

We’re building professionals — and we’re selective about who joins the team.

What Makes Next Level a Great Place to Work

At Next Level, field team members succeed because expectations are clear and support is real.

You can expect:

  • Full-time, steady work
  • Clear job expectations and defined standards
  • Hands-on learning and skill development
  • Respect and structure in the field
  • Leadership support that removes obstacles
  • A real path to advancement for high performers

Strong Remodel Helpers are developed and promoted into Remodel Technician roles as skills, consistency, and ownership grow.

Compensation & Benefits

This is a full-time field role. Compensation is based on experience, reliability, and consistency in the field.

Benefits include:

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Flexible Time Off (FTO)
  • Ongoing training and development

Next Steps

If this role sounds like the right fit:

  • Apply with your basic information and work history
  • We’ll schedule a conversation to confirm alignment

If you’re willing to work hard, learn the trade, and hold yourself to a higher standard, we want to meet you.
