  • Conduct ongoing follow-up with participants to support job retention, workplace integration, and long-term success.
  • Support employers with recruitment activities including candidate referrals, screening, and interview coordination.
  • Organize and participate in job fairs, hiring events, employer sessions, and community outreach activities.
  • Monitor workplace suitability and support safe, respectful, and inclusive employment environments.
  • Maintain accurate records of employer contacts, job leads, placements, and outcomes for reporting and tracking purposes.

What It Takes

  • Strong relationship-building and employer engagement skills.
  • Ability to identify job opportunities and align them with participant skills and readiness.
  • Strong understanding of labour market trends, particularly within trades or related sectors.
  • Ability to support clients through job search, career planning, and early employment challenges.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills across diverse audiences.
  • Organizational skills with strong documentation and follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team.
  • Adaptability, initiative, and problem-solving skills in dynamic environments.
