New Season Treatment Centers is seeking a compassionate Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor to join our multidisciplinary team. If you're passionate about behavioral health, addiction recovery, and helping individuals transform their lives, we'd love to hear from you.

For more than 30 years, New Season has been a national leader in outpatient addiction treatment and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), providing evidence-based care to individuals living with opioid use disorder.

What You'll Do

  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling for patients receiving substance use disorder treatment
  • Complete comprehensive assessments, psychosocial evaluations, treatment planning, and clinical documentation
  • Conduct admissions, discharges, transfers, and ongoing patient evaluations
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and behavioral health professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Facilitate therapeutic groups and educate patients on addiction, recovery, relapse prevention, and wellness
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining regulatory and clinical documentation standards

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field required.
  • Active professional license required, including one of the following:
    • LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker)
    • LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor)
    • LICDC (Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor)
    • LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist)
  • Experience in substance use disorder, addiction treatment, behavioral health, or mental health counseling preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation, communication, and patient engagement skills.
