Work Environment

This position offers a fully remote work setting, allowing you to conduct virtual telehealth sessions from the comfort of your home. Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, promoting a healthy work-life balance. Our administrative team is highly supportive, managing operational tasks so that you can focus primarily on your clients and therapeutic practices.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your core responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough initial assessments to evaluate clients’ diverse mental health needs, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their backgrounds and experiences.
• Designing tailored treatment plans that align with each client’s goals and preferences, promoting a client-centered approach to therapy.
• Delivering engaging virtual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, ensuring that each session is impactful and goal-oriented.
• Remaining up-to-date with the latest therapeutic methodologies and empirical research to provide the best care possible to clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will predominantly work with a variety of clients facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and other mental health conditions. Your personalized approach will help foster an environment of trust and safety, crucial for effective therapy. Engaging with a diverse clientele allows for a rich exchange of experiences and strengthens your therapeutic skills.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology.
• Valid California LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC license.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic methods and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, which streamline client documentation and enhance treatment efficacy.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in community health settings and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities (e.g., cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness practices) will be advantageous in this role. Additional experience with underserved populations is also highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this role ranges from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience. New Patterns Therapy, Ltd also offers a robust benefits package, including:
