This full-time role focuses on delivering top-notch orthopedic rehabilitation to enhance patient mobility and quality of life. With a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, plus comprehensive benefits, this is an opportunity to truly make a difference in the lives of our patients.

About the Organization

At New Life Physical Therapy and Wellness Center, we pride ourselves on being a leader in outpatient orthopedic care. Our state-of-the-art facility boasts 5,000 square feet of innovative treatment space designed to promote active rehabilitation. We are committed to providing the highest standards of care and service to our patients, with a focus on individualized therapeutic interventions that allow for faster recovery and improved outcomes. Our team consists of highly trained professionals, including two physical therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), all dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.

Work Environment

The position is onsite in our cutting-edge outpatient clinic located in Elizabeth, NJ. Our practice operates Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm. This environment fosters collaboration among our healthcare professionals, ensuring that every patient receives comprehensive attention and the best possible treatment approach. Utilizing modern equipment and EMR software like WebPT, our therapists are equipped to efficiently manage patient care and documentation, providing a seamless experience for both staff and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient evaluations to assess needs, identify goals, and develop individualized treatment plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques.
  • Administer cost-effective therapies aimed at improving patients' range of motion, strength, and overall functional mobility.
  • Implement customized fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient’s specific rehabilitation requirements.
  • Motivate patients throughout their treatment process, encouraging adherence to therapy and reinforcing healthy lifestyle habits.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and maintain thorough documentation of services provided.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care, referring patients as needed for additional services.
  • Evaluate treatment outcomes to ensure continuous improvement and adapt care strategies effectively, thereby enhancing patient functionality.
  • Stay abreast of developments in physical therapy practices, manual therapy techniques, and orthopedic interventions.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients who possess private medical insurance and require orthopedic rehabilitation services. Our patients typically face challenges stemming from sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, chronic pain, and mobility impairments. Your expertise will directly contribute to restoring their functionality and enhancing their quality of life through targeted therapy interventions.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
  • A valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey with no record of board or disciplinary actions.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development and implementation of exercise programs.
  • Experience utilizing EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for effective patient management.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices in physical therapy and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive compensation package, with salaries ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year. In addition, our benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, a retirement savings plan with employer matching, paid time off, and continuing education opportunities to support your professional growth.

Career Growth Opportunities

As a key member of our clinical team, you will have the opportunity to engage in continual learning and professional advancement. We encourage our therapists to pursue specializations within physical therapy, offering support for additional certifications and training to enhance clinical skills and expand the scope of practice.

Why Join Our Team
