Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and obtain detailed medical histories to inform accurate diagnosis and individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with surgeons and interdisciplinary teams to deliver integrated care tailored to patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly.
  • Perform detailed physical examinations, analyze diagnostic test results, and formulate appropriate treatment protocols based on clinical findings.
  • Administer necessary vaccinations and medications, advising patients and their families on strategies for preventive health measures and lifestyle adjustments.
  • Monitor chronic conditions, develop management plans, and facilitate referrals to specialists when additional care is required.
  • Utilize the EPIC EMR system for precise documentation of patient encounters, ensuring regulatory compliance and standardization of care processes.
  • Engage in ongoing quality improvement initiatives and remain current on medical advancements, integrating best practices into daily workflows.
  • Promote preventive healthcare initiatives that will enhance patient wellness and improve overall quality of life.
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care, establishing trusting relationships with patients and their families to foster a supportive care environment.
  • Adhere to ethical and legal medical standards, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current PA Certification and an active state license in Illinois.
  • Minimum of one year of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant, preferably in a surgical or family practice setting.
Preferred Experience
  • A Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in a surgical environment, along with proficiency in utilizing the EPIC EMR system, is a significant asset.
