Requirements:

• Greet patients warmly and professionally
• Check in patients accurately and efficiently
• Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information
• Collect copayments and patient balances
• Assist patients with questions and help direct them to the appropriate resources
• Communicate effectively with providers, clinical staff and other departments
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements
• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and a positive attitude
• Help to keep patient flow moving smoothly in a busy specialty practice
