  • Collaborative accounting team with excellent mentorship and professional development opportunities
  • Ability to participate in process improvements and revenue cycle initiatives that impact the organization
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) match
  • Tuition assistance and ongoing professional development programs
  • Hybrid work environment in the Orlando area
  • Strong internal promotion track and career advancement opportunities

Key Responsibilities for the Net Revenue Accountant:

  • Prepare monthly revenue close packages, journal entries, and supporting schedules
  • Analyze net revenue trends, patient accounts receivable, and financial variances
  • Maintain bad debt and contractual reserve models and calculations
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accurate reporting of revenue and AR balances
  • Prepare monthly forecasts and assist with annual budgeting processes
  • Partner with Revenue Cycle and Finance teams to improve reporting accuracy and financial results
  • Prepare audit workpapers and support internal and external audits
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and enhance accounting efficiencies
  • Assist with ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, and special projects

Qualifications for the Net Revenue Accountant:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Healthcare accounting or hospital net revenue experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and accrual accounting principles
  • Experience with patient accounts receivable, revenue recognition, or reimbursement accounting preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
  • CPA preferred, but not required
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship needs
