Role Description The Residential House Cleaner is responsible for performing routine and detailed cleaning tasks in clients’ homes, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, surface sanitizing, and general tidying. This part-time role involves following established checklists and client preferences, using appropriate cleaning products and tools, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and safety. The Residential House Cleaner will communicate with the company and clients to confirm appointments, report issues, and ensure expectations are met. This is a remote role in the sense that administrative coordination is handled off-site; however, the work itself is performed at clients’ residential locations. The position requires reliable transportation to job sites and the ability to work independently while representing Neatfreak Cleaning Service in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• Strong residential cleaning skills, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, and surface sanitizing.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, cleaning checklists, and specific client requests with attention to detail.
• Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently and meet scheduled appointments and deadlines.
• Clear, respectful communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• Reliable transportation to and from client locations and the ability to work in different home environments.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks safely.
• Commitment to safety practices, including proper use of cleaning products and respect for clients’ property and privacy.
• Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required; training may be provided.
• Availability for part-time hours with a consistent schedule and willingness to work independently.
