Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to provide accurate diagnoses and develop customized treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
• Administer acupuncture treatments while ensuring patient comfort and safety, creating a relaxing ambiance throughout the treatment process.
• Engage in comprehensive discussions with patients about their treatment journey, addressing any concerns and adapting plans as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team, including herbalists and nutritionists, to coordinate care strategies that enhance patient outcomes.
• Utilize exceptional time management skills to maintain an efficient workflow, treating multiple patients while ensuring quality care for each individual.
• Stay abreast of the latest acupuncture techniques and research, actively integrating new methodologies to enhance treatment effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation as part of our commitment to high-quality care and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Graduation from an accredited acupuncture school.
• Current acupuncture license for the state of Virginia.
• Certification by the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine).

Preferred Experience

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical acupuncture practice. Experience in a multidisciplinary setting is a plus, as is familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems for effective patient documentation.
